All elements of the MediaBay.fr website — source code, design, visual identity, editorial content, logos, trademarks and domain name — are the exclusive property of Markovic Technologies, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, of any of these elements, by any means and on any medium whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Markovic Technologies, except as provided for in article L.122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
The third-party libraries and components used by MediaBay (libheif, libavif, jSquash, Flask, etc.) remain the property of their respective authors and are distributed under their original licences.
Local file processing.
MediaBay is a strictly local processing tool. No image placed in the converter is collected, stored or transmitted to the publisher — the technical architecture makes this impossible.
Conversion takes place exclusively in the user's browser memory, via the HTML5 Canvas and WebAssembly APIs. Files never pass through Markovic Technologies' servers and are not subject to any duplication, backup, indexing or analysis on the server side.
The processing of connection and analytics data (server logs, Google Analytics 4, Adsterra ad network) is detailed in our privacy policy, in accordance with the GDPR.
Limits of liability.
MediaBay is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Markovic Technologies makes every effort to ensure the availability and reliability of the service, but cannot guarantee continuity of service or the absence of errors.
The detailed terms of use and the limitations of liability — in particular those relating to the processing carried out by the user's device processor and memory — are set out in our general terms of use.
Governing law.
This legal notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent French courts.
